Yesterday, I showed you a card I made for my BFF, Janet. Today, I'll show you what else I did with that same stamped art piece. I just got the Large Simply Adorned charm and 34" chain. But I hadn't decided what I wanted to put in the charm yet. Well, once I finished Janet's card, I knew that art piece would make a beautiful necklace. So I made another one.

I've been showing you various ways to use the Deck The Halls DSP. Today's cards still use the DSP, but the focus is really on the Stamped art pieces. For the 1st card, I embossed the Poinsettia stamp from Bells Boughs with Silver embossing powder and then colored in the image. I love adding sparkle to all my cards, but especially Christmas cards.
This 2nd card is for my BFF, Janet. She loves music and this DSP. So I used the last week's Mojo Monday sketch to make her card. I thought the "Silent Night" portion of the Christmas Collage stamp was the perfect match for this piece of DSP. I inked the Christmas Collage with Versamark, then with Cherry Cobbler, and embossed the image with Iridescent Ice. It's so sparkly IRL. Oh, and I colored in the holly leaves and berries.

13 days until Christmas ... Today, I'm showing you how to turn a plain little sack (from the Craft Store) into a nice Teacher Gift, Co-worker Gift, or some other little Appreciation Gift. The Christmas Collage background stamp is great for getting several sacks done in a hurry. Just stamp it once on each side, add a punched sentiment, and you're done. These are the small size sacks, and they'll easily hold a package of Ghiradelli Chocolates or some other treat. Please email me if you have any questions.

Today, I'm showing you a card I made for the CCMC124 Color Challenge. We need to use Basic Black, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla. My first thought was "elegant" when I looked at the fabric sample and the design team creations. But I just couldn't get anything to work out in my mind. Mainly because I kept thinking of "Over the hill" birthday cards! So I went ahead and made my borther's 40th birthday card :-) Now, you'll just have to wait to see it because I kept thinking about the "elegant" aspect last night, and I had some extra time this morning. So I made a Christmas card -- I can never have enough of those! I'm pleased with the subtle elegance of this card. And since I switched back to a Christmas card, this also qualifies for the JAI43 Just Add Christmas Challenge.

Hooray, It's finally Friday! I'm planning to work with My Digital Studio (MDS) this weekend. My SIL sent me some pictures of my niece and nephew. I'm going to use them to create a 2011 Calendar for my parents. I'm really enjoying all the things I can do with MDS. I've created Scrapbook pages, Cards, and Birthday Invitations so far. I'll be posting more scrapbook pages next week.

I can't believe we're at the end of October! These last couple of months have really flown by. It will soon be time to get out those Christmas decorations. And that's what I'm showing you today … nice how that worked out, huh? ;-)
I created Luminaries using Vellum paper, the Christmas Collage background stamp, and the Bells and Boughs stamp set. These were very simple and quick to create. The largest one has 5" sqare panels; the middle one has 4" square panels; and the last one has 3" square panels. I think it's neat how easily you can focus on different sections of the Christmas Collage stamp to get very unique focal pieces. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Finally! Today is my first Workshop. Although it's my friends, I'm still nervous. I hope they like the projects I've created. And I REALLY hope they lilke the Christmas cards they'll be making.
