FTL124 and CTD125 -- Tulip Bouquet Birthday

Good Morning! I had my first Stamp Club event this weekend. I was really nervous leading up to it. But I relaxed once we got started on the projects, and I had fun. I hope everyone else enjoyed it just as much.

Today's card uses Clean & Simple's FTL124 sketch. This is an intriguing sketch; it looks like you need a 3D element overlapping the sentiment punch out. So I turned to the Tulips made from the Bird Punch's wing. I use 3 wings for the full tulip and 2 wings for the tulip buds just starting to open. My colors come from Color Throwdown's CTD125 -- Blushing Bride, Kraft (Crumb Cake), and Pear Pizzazz.

I used the Square Lattice embossing folder on the horizontal Pear Pizzazz strip. We usually use the Embossed side, but the Debossed side (back side) can be just as interesting. With the Square Lattice EF, I prefer the Debossed side. Next time you use an embossing folder, try the Debossed side for a different look.

Quick Tip: Do you get tired of lining up your stamp on the inside of the card? Punch it out, and use it to repeat the design from the front. This time I added the same Pear Pizzazz accent strip and label punch.
