Sledding -- PP24 and SSC177

Back to Christmas cards, they're my favorite colors anyway. The colors are from Paper Players' PP24, and the sketch is from Stampin' 411's SSC177. I struggled with this card. I won't show you my first attempt! But I'm happy with this card. I love the Welcome Home stamp set. It works so well with other stamps I have. Thanks for stopping by!

Snowman for MOJO164

An update on my procrastination: I have 4 of my 6 projects completed for the Stamp Camp this weekend. I'll tell you more abvout those next week.

Today, I'll show you a fun card I made for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge MOJO164. Since the sketch has a circle for the focal image, I decided to use the Snowman stamp from Tags til Christmas. I'm loving the Tags til Christmas stamp set. It has so many possibilities -- from tags to cards to gift packaging. The snowman image also qualifies for the Paper Players Challenge 23. I added a piece of Brushed Silver embossed with the Northern Flurry embossing folder. And finally, lots of Dazzling Diamonds for the snow. I love sparkle!

Paper Players and Clean and Simple challenges

I love the Paper Players Color Challenge this week -- Real Red, Basic Black, and Whisper White. Well, I thought the new Bells and Boughs stamp set (item #121142) worked perfectly with Clean and Simple FTL111. So I combined the two challenges, and I also made two versions of the card.

The first card is for people who don't like coloring. I highlighted the large poinsettia bloom by making it red and popping it up.

The second card is stepped up a bit. I embossed the large poinsettia with Black Embossing Powder. Then I colored it with my Blender Pen and Real Red stamp pad. Still very simple, but with a little more impact. What do you think? Please let me know if you have any questions.
